Alex Páramo is the Director of Cerveza de Bolsillo - the first documentary feature film about Mexican craft beer. Director, producer and script writer of Mexican film and television. He studied the career of communication and digital media in TEC de Monterrey in Mexico City and film production in Vancouver Film School in BC, Canada, then after, he became alumni of the master's degree in filmmaking at AMCI in Mexico City.
In addition to documentary films, Alex Páramo has stood out for directing fantastic fiction stories. He is passionate about literature and telling stories. His characters and magical realism make the viewer reflect throughout his stories.
His first projects as a filmmaker are short films, the most prominent work is ¨Enlightenment¨, a film that has won international awards at multiple film festivals. In recent times, he has directed shorts like "Reflexia", "Nona" and the 48 Hour Film Project nominated in three different categories; "Un Follow a la Vez".
