David M. Quinones has established his niche in the film industry. Coming from a strong a prolific background in Hip-Hop, R&B and Gospel Producer. David is also the CEO of Holy Ground Music Group, LLC (A Recording, Marketing, Promotional & Film Company), which he founded in the early 2000's. Birthing at the early age of 12 in his Hip-Hop roots with a passion for Rap music & music videos in Brooklyn, NY, David along with his child hood friends John Arrington & Donald Francis created music.
David turned his eye to Hollywood in 2001 releasing alongside Jonathan Hall & IMOK Enterprises, presenting a film documentary as one of the producers for "Heart Of The Brooklyn Sound". A documentary of how Gospel music shaped it's genre from the 70's to the early 2000's gaining credibility around the Christian Music Market from it's start in Brooklyn, NYC, around the USA and abroad. He focused on a musical career since.
David revisited television & Film on a TV Series called "South Of Brooklyn" (2012) with his long time partner John Arrington and cousin, Writer / Director Sura Khan. His career milestones include the collaboration with music exec Lance "UN" Rivera for Undeas / Untertainment / Interscope records releases. David also teamed back Lance to produce a film titled "Sara & Muhammad" still in post production. Lance having close ties to Queen Latifah and Shakim Compere who established Crossover Media, a marketing and advertising company made ground breaking success with making features on the film, The Cookout (2004), starring Queen Latifah. The Film opened on 1,303 screens, and opened at #8 in the box office with a gross of $5,000,900. After seven weeks, it ended with a domestic gross of $11,814,019 and made $195,051 from foreign countries, for a total of $12,009,070 worldwide. Their 2nd Film, The Perfect Holiday opened at #6 with $2.2 million and grossed $5.8 million domestically.
Still working and building his career, David Produces at a top level. The latest Film production "Love"... Falling Is The Easy part (2022) is set to stream the Summer of 2022. Along side Clyde Salliey & John Arrington pushing production companies "Reel Block pictures, Inc & Select House Pictures, Inc. more films will be generated for people to enjoy.
David has collaborated with many Actors, Screenwriters, Film Producers & Directors such as Calvin "Klein" Bacote (The Klein Syndicate Television Series), Terrell Williams (Set Life & The Bull & YaYa Show), Ayanna "YaYa" Ellis (Bull & YaYa Show), Emmanuella Young (The Chosen Generation Show). He will like for all his collaborations to gain high achievements both in and outside the studio. David learned Drums, Keys & Organ early in his local church then later became the producer "D-Diamond$" and "Dave The Producer". John & David later formed a production duo called "Diamond$ & Rosco" who grew in talent and has produced / collaborated with artists such as Dutch & Spade-O (Major Figgas), Styles P, Rockwilder, ICE-T, Junior M.A.F.I.A., Smoothe The Hustler, Trigger The Gambler, Shabazz The Disciple, N.O.R.E., Tek & Steele of (Smif N Wessun) and many others. David and John has made lifelong relationships being the keys to lots of successful artists & actors in the music & film industry. David also started his own Awards show "Favor Ain't Fair" gearing to all the hard working artists, actors, community groups and leaders around the nation and has been leading a showcase in Las Vegas, NV w partners Debbie Wallace & Philip Wesley called "The New York Elite Artist Showcase" premiering talented and gifted artists from across America during the Stellar Awards week. He is one of only a few producers from his area in music history to have been making a major impact on musicians from the early ages of 12 out of Brooklyn, NY in the late 80's.
