Biography

João Victor Barroso (Ceará, Brazil - 1982) is a composer, music producer and multi-instrumentalist with more than two decades of experience in the Brazilian cultural scene. With a degree in Music from UECE (State University of Ceará), he stands out for his aesthetic sophistication and the breadth of his original work. As a creator of original soundtracks, he has composed music for more than 40 films, series, documentaries, theatre and dance performances - many of them nationally awarded - collaborating with some of the leading directors of contemporary Brazilian cinema, such as Petrus Cariry, Bárbara Cariry, Rosemberg Cariry, Allan Deberton, Pedro Diógenes and Wolney Oliveira.
