- Michelle Núñez is an Afro-Dominican multidisciplinary artist. Born in Texas, she grew up between cities and continents. As the daughter of an immigrant single mother who served in the U.S. military, Michelle comes from a nomadic background that deeply informs the stories she tells and how she tells them. She co-led the regional premiere production of Theresa Rebeck's Broadway hit "Seminar" and has performed in a variety of original and modern theatrical works, including the stage adaptation of "The Man from Earth." Michelle stars as Zane, a series regular on Tyler Perry’s Ruthless for Paramount+, recurs as Elena Flores on ABC's The Rookie and The Rookie: Feds, and guest stars in Ryan Murphy’s Doctor Odyssey.
As a musician, Michelle released her first body of work last year and plans to continue sharing her voice through her singing and songwriting. Additional credits include roles in independent films, voicing the character Orthi on the weekly Supersonic Pod Comics podcast, leading a music video for one of the UK’s most successful electronic duos, and appearing opposite Olympic silver medalist Colby Stevenson for Monster Energy TV.
