Born and raised in Vietnam, he moved to Australia in 2015. He is an acting graduate of the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), where he completed his training in 2023. He began undertaking a Master of Teaching while continuing to work across stage and screen, both in Australia and internationally.
