Farauq Malik(I)

An engineer turned filmmaker; screenwriting became his fervent forte. He has written a children's feature film 'Saalam Bachche' and rom-com drama. Farauq worked in the theatre as a writer & backstage support, as associate director in tele and feature films, and has directed short films. Writing poems is an equal passion. Farauq is the screenplay and dialogue writer of a folklore suspense thriller, 'Charak: Fair of Faith'. His screenplay for a short feature, 'Ru Ba Ru', won a Special Jury Mentioned Award at the prestigious Jaipur International Film Festival 2025. He is developing some interesting screenplays for films and Series.
