Originally from Florida, Laurie moved to the Poconos in 2015 with her husband and 4 of her children. She began her acting career at that time and has accrued numerous stage credits in a variety of roles. She has also appeared on several real crime recreation shows and also historical recreation shows. Hee writing career began in 2022 with the creation of a TV series based on her life. Always a student, she recently studied acting with Kathleen Turner.
