Biography

Ava Caryofyllis was born in Sydney, Australia. She started acting when she was five years old. Since then, she has been lucky enough to work with such actors as Mark Wahlberg, Woody Harrelson, Josh Gad, Lupita Nyong'o, Garrett Hedlund and Kelly Macdonald. Ava is also playing Iris, the daughter of Marta Dusseldorp in the ABC Drama series Bay of Fires (2023) released in 2023. Soon after, Ava was nominated for a Logie Award for the Graham Kennedy Award for Most Popular New Talent. Season 2 released in 2025. Ava also plays Young Jane in Thor: Love and Thunder (2022) Her other film credits include the Amazon feature Play Dirty (2025), Netflix feature Kate (2021), Little Monsters (2019), Dirt Music (2019), Hearts and Bones (2019) and upcoming film Other You. Ava will also be seen in 2026 in the Netflix series My Brilliant Career (2026)

On the set of Little Monsters, Josh Gad used Ava in one of his Instagram videos to try and make Lupita Nyong'o spill the beans about the upcoming Star Wars film by pretending she was writing a book report. It wasn't successful but he did pay Ava on the side.....
