Biography

A Korean-Chinese girl group with 13 members: EXY, Seola, Xuan Yi, Bona, Soobin, Luda, Dawon, Eunseo, Cheng Xiao, Mei Qi, Yeoreum, Dayoung and Yeonjung. They are also known as WJSN. Premiered in 2016 under Starship Entertainment and Yuehua Entertainment. The group is divided in four units: The Wonder Unit (Cheng Xiao, Bona, Dayoung), the Joy Unit (Xuanyi, Eunseo, Yeoreum), the Sweet Unit (Seola, Exy, Soobin) and the Natural Unit (Meiqi, Luda, Dawon).

As of 2022 they perform and promote without any of their Chinese members - who are still listed on their roster as "on hiatus".

Member Cheng Xiao cannot pronounce her own name - whether that is her Chinese name or her Korean name is unclear.

Included a sub-unit called "Y-Teen" under label Monsta X that included Seola, Exy, Soobin, Eunseo, Cheng Xiao, Yeoreum, and Dayoung.
