Kalala Kiwanuka-Woernle

Kalala Kiwanuka-Woernle is an actor and model based in Boston. She studied acting at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center, the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Arts, and received her B.A. in Theater & Dance from Macalester College. Kalala is best known for playing Hannah in Apple TV's Widow's Bay. She has also acted in the feature films, Cotton Fever; Ugly Ducklings; and Fakes; in addition to short films, 528; Abandoned Buildings, The Director, Exposure and OURS. Professional theater credits include appearances at Penumbra Theatre (Flex, Spittin' Seeds, Sugar in Our Wounds); Open Window Theatre (The Originalist); Moonbox Productions (Once Upon a Carnival); and The Southern Theater (Reasons for Moving). Kalala has also appeared in commercials for Lancôme, Sleepy Tie, Gold N'Hot, Kleo Kolors, Target, Brooks Running, Nike, Culture Pop, and Amica Insurance.
