Daniele Truocchio

Biography

Daniele Truocchio

Biography

  • Born and raised in the suburbs of Rome, Italy Daniele Truocchio is an immigrant composer and music producer based in Los Angeles. He is one of the few film composers to ever be featured in the prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30 Entertainment list, alongside popular rock band Måneskin, Adele, Rihanna, and Miley Cyrus, to name a few.

Truocchio's scores include 3-time Telly Awards winner The Relentless One co-scored with acclaimed composer Mike Suby, as well as collaborations on over 100 episodes of mainstream television including Legacies (The CW), God Friended Me (CBS), Pretty Little Liars (Freeform), Roswell, New Mexico (The CW) feature films Extremely Wicked Shockingly Evil and Vile, and Ghosts of War (Netflix), as well as 3 times Emmy Nominated Documentary The Weight of Success.

Daniele's music journey began at the age of 7 studying guitar and performing his first live show at the age of 10 together with his two brothers. A truly life-changing experience happened during his teenage years becoming the chosen mentee of Senegalese guitarist and composer Peace Diouf which, through intense training that lasted several years (à la The Karate Kid), offered Daniele an open-minded understanding of world music and sounds.

He has studied classical composition and guitar at the Italian Conservatory, and Film Scoring at Berklee College of Music in Boston with a minor in Africana Studies and is a national voting member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and the Recording Academy.
