Biography

Aixa Kay (pronounced eye-sha) is a Saudi performer working between Saudi Arabia and Canada. She is a member of the UBCP/ACTRA actors union. Her recent work includes co-starring in "Almarsa", which trended globally in Shahid’s Top 10, and playing the lead in "Jasmine Road", directed by award-winning Canadian filmmaker Warren Sulatycky.

In 2021, she received three nominations for Best Lead Performance.

Aixa works both in front of the camera and behind the mic, having narrated two audiobooks-an autobiography and a YA fantasy novel. She holds an MA in Creative Writing from Portland State University and previously served as Head Writer on two MBC comedy series.

She is preparing to pitch her original TV pilot, "Mother Afraa," developed through the Red Sea Series Lab.
