Biography

Tendaiishe successfully graduated from the University of Cape Town (South Africa) with a Bachelor of Arts in Film, Media & Writing and Drama. She has landed lead and supporting roles on several drama series on SABC 1, 2 & 3, EbonyLife TV and Mzansi Magic in South Africa. One defining moment in her career was being cast as lead for the 2017 Zimbabwean independent film, The Cook Off directed by Tomas Brickhill. The film was well received and officially selected as part of the International Film Festival of Rotterdam 2018 and Seattle Film Festival 2018 and others. Tendaiishe won Best Actress at the Zimbabwe International Film Festival in 2018 for her role in Cook Off. She has also worked as a TV host and Brand Ambassador; and has a passion for literary arts.

During her MBA studies, she received an Erasmus Scholarship to travel to the Warsaw School of Economics to complete her final six months of the degree in Poland as a cultural exchange postgraduate student.

She has two singles readily available for listening on her YouTube Channel.

She is co-founder and former board member of Lawyers for the Arts South Africa (LASA), an NPO that provides pro bono legal education and services to creative professionals in the arts sector in South Africa.

Additionally, Tendaiishe holds two postgraduate degrees in business, including a Master of Business Administration from Wits Business School in Johannesburg.

She is a co-facilitator and administrator of the Ford Foundation Regional Fellowship Programme which provides leadership, financial and networking support to social impact leaders from Southern Africa.
