Biography

Sheyda Darian, born and raised throughout her childhood in Texas, is a half Persian, half Honduran actress. She lived in many cities throughout Texas, including Houston and Austin before her families' final relocation to Orlando, FL due to her father's work. At the early age of 4, she had found a deep love for the arts, often escaping into different world's through books and film and even having a desire to create her own through writing. Although her passion for the arts was persistent, her parents strongly encouraged her to focus on academia. Throughout middle school and high school, she jumped at any opportunity to perform in plays, and talent shows expressing her love for the craft given the chance. At the age of 18, a newfound freedom, allowed her to delve into a performance art school to focus on her craft and training full time. In 2016, she studied at Art Sake Acting School taught and ran by Yvonne Suhor. She has studied various methods, such as Meisner, Method, training in commercial, film scene, theatre, and improv. She starred as principal in many short films such as, "Blue" (2017), "American Typo" (2018), and "Lucid" (2018). In 2018, her first principal role in the short film, "Blue", won the Best Shorts Competition, in La Jolla, California. In 2019, she signed with Brevard Talent Group, represented by Traci Danielle in FL to develop her career theatrically. During the pandemic in quarantine, she had the opportunity to study at Margie Haber Studio in Los Angeles via zoom, with Diane Charles for film scene. In early 2021, she relocated to Los Angeles, CA to commit to her career as an actress full time. Aside from acting, she really enjoys other avenues of art such as writing, reading, and painting. Throughout her life she participated in several sports, doing gymnastics, volleyball, and eventually running varsity track/field & cross country in throughout highschool. Motion and exercise, through running, free style dance, and yoga, hiking, soaking in the ocean etc. plays a huge role in her lifestyle. She loves to cook various foods from around the world and spend time in nature and with animals.
