  • Tiffany Elle Burgess is a multifaceted creative professional whose work spans acting, writing, and producing. Her contributions to the film and entertainment industry have earned her recognition within various circles. Ms. Burgess made her big-screen debut in the 2023 film adaptation of The Color Purple, portraying Olivia, the daughter of the main character, Celie, played by Fantasia Barrino. The film featured a star-studded cast, including Taraji P. Henson, Danielle Brooks, and Halle Bailey, and won Outstanding Motion Picture at the 2024 NAACP Image Awards. Her acting credits also include appearances in ABC's The Wonder Years and the award-winning short film, Glitter Ain't Gold, produced by Common. An accomplished author, Ms. Burgess has written three children's books: Skin Like Mine (2016), The Adventures of Junior and Baby Brother: Spencer's Special Gift (2019), and Decisions, Decisions (2023). Her debut book was featured in Essence magazine and later adapted into an animated short film. As co-founder of Tyler Street Films, alongside fellow Hampton University alumni Jack Manning, III and Lawrence "LAW" Watford, Ms. Burgess has written and produced short films such as FLIPPED, Catharsis, and animated adaptation of Skin Like Mine.
