Nicolas Jara is a writer, producer, and filmmaker from Mountain View, CA. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Cinema and Minor in Anthropology from San Francisco State University and has since worked as a freelance assistant director and producer on commercials, documentaries, and narrative shorts. After receiving the Barbara Hammer Filmmaker Grant for his first short "Guardian", the film entered the festival circuit, receiving awards and acceptances from over a dozen festivals.
