Biography

Jess grew up in the small college town of Wingate, North Carolina. He wanted to experience other parts of the country, so he would later live in over a dozen towns and cities, including New York, Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Dana Point and even Mouth of Wilson, Virginia. He discovered acting at the University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill. He was an actor in New York, later placed acting on hold and moved to California for business and family reasons. In Newport Beach he met his wife Sandra to whom he has been married for over 30 years. In 1993, in a most outstanding acting role, Jess convinced Sandra to move from the beautiful beaches of Southern California to North Carolina where he would take over his father's commercial real estate business located in the Charlotte area. With the success of his business, Jess returned to the craft of acting.
