Mo Moshaty is a horror writer, producer, lecturer, and editor known for her work exploring trauma, identity, folklore, and representation within horror cinema and literature. She is the Creator and Producer of the From Inside the House podcast, the Founder of Mourning Manor Media, and the Editor-in-Chief of NightTide Magazine, an independent platform dedicated to horror criticism and marginalized voices within the genre.
Moshaty is a producer with Nyx Horror Collective and helped produce the award-winning 13 Minutes of Horror: Sci-Fi Horror, recipient of the Rondo Hatton Classic Horror Awards for Best Short Film. Through her work with Nyx, she has collaborated with Shudder and Stowe Story Labs to support emerging filmmakers in genre cinema.
As a lecturer and cultural critic, Moshaty has spoken internationally on women’s trauma in horror cinema, gothic storytelling, race, and representation in horror through institutions and events, including the British Film Institute and Miskatonic Institute of Horror Studies. She is also the host of the horror analysis podcast From Inside the House and author of the award-winning novellas Love the Sinner and Clariviolence: Tales of Tarot and Torment, and internationally lauded The Annex of the Obscure Vol 1: The Afterlife and From Inside the House
