Prem Boricha was born in Mumbai, India. He grew up making short films with his childhood friends. Later, he went on to pursue his film studies in Hollywood, Los Angeles; where he found his love for film editing and the earliest work experience with the Academy Award-Winning Editor of the film Rocky (1976).
