Biography

Deep Mandeep is an Indian actress who predominantly works in the hindi and Punjabi film and television industry. She originally belongs to Hoshiarpur but was raised in Mohali, where she completed her graduation before foraying into the world of entertainment.

The versatile artists learnt acting and received training in vocal music and folk dance. She started her acting career with Gursharan Singh, Sanjeevan and B.P. Singh in Chandigarh. She has been active in theatre for more than 20 years.

Deep made her film debut with Ek Jind Ek Jaan in 2005. This was followed by a series of projects including some of the notable names such as Arjan, Chausar, Nidarr, Crime Petrol, Udaan, Vaapsi, to name a few. For Vaapsi, she was nominated for best character role at PTC film Awards. She also received one PTC award for short film Sulagadhi.

She received many awards in theatre too especially 'Ustad Busmillah Khan Yuva Puruskar' national award from Sangeet Natak Academy.

With a surging project portfolio, she earned decent recognition to emerge as one of the sought-after artists in the industry. Her credentials surged owing to her impactful performances and adaptability.

Deep has left an unperturbed mark on the hearts of audiences by donning various roles for different projects across multiple niches. Her recent projects include Dreamland, Sector 17 and Kohrra.

She intends to keep entertaining the fans with her artistic brilliance, building her own legacy in the coming years.

Deep is also a trained folk dancer.

Mandeep has directed many plays and short films like Khande Di Dhaar, E Zindagi, Choti Sardarni, etc.
