Midori is the host of Urban Beauty TV, the first and only TV show dedicated to hair, health, beauty, and fashion via a multicultural lens, airing Saturdays on BETHer. "There's really nothing like it that dives into the brand and the boss like we do. I'm proud to be able to bring these stories to the world and showcase that we are the origin and creators of some of the most noticeable trends in the US. And we know that much of the world's social culture is reflected in what we're doing here, so there's no denying our impact on the world," said Amae.
In her breakout year, Amae became DCW50's America's Next Top Model Fan Favorite, walked in 30 NYFW, MBFW and DC fashion shows, was the finale for Rihanna's FENTYxPUMA pop-up fashion show experience, joined the cast of DMV Podcast and began hosting the popular Indian fashion TV show Style 24/7 for Jus24/7 TV.
