Carrie Drovdlic

An award-winning audiobook narrator, classically trained singer, and professional (non-union) voice actress, Carrie uses her three-octave range and precise vocal control to create character voices ranging from a spoiled child to an ancient crone, and MANY in between, for videogames, animation, short films, and audiobooks. Having also spent some time working as a bench scientist and a freelance writer, she's not afraid of big words, and has a great grasp of script analysis and the ability to identify with, and connect to, her audience. She began her voice acting career looking for medical narration work, but stumbled upon a videogame character audition (Rinko in White Noise 2). After landing that role, she tapped back into her earlier theater training and proceeded down the path to character work. Training with coaches such as Marc Graue and Cristina Milizia, she dusted off her acting skills and hasn't looked back (and still to date, has never done any medical narration). She works from her home studio in Columbus, OH, where she lives with her husband, three children, and her dog, Buffy (the dog toy slayer). When not behind the mic you can find her at her kids' activities, singing in her church's praise band, or lifting really heavy weights.
