Elijah Journigan(II)

Elijah Jamal Journigan was born and raised in Trenton, NJ and was always surrounded by his family growing up. His mother (Jacinda Journigan) and father (Elbert Journigan) strived to provide the best household for Elijah and his younger sister Jasmine. Soon after, Elijah and his family moved to Pennsylvania and then finally to Willingboro, NJ where he graduated at a neighboring high school.
Elijah grew up around talented individuals starting with his dad. His father, Elbert, is a disc jockey and is always finding new ways to perfect his passion and craft. Seeing his dad DJ at multiple venues, he started to pick up on a few things regarding DJ himself. This soon led to him writing his own music and raps. Later, his natural talent at writing raps developed into performances at various high schools across the neighborhood as well as charity events. This was when Elijah first fell in love with the performing arts and knew that he wanted to pursue a career in the field.
In 2013, Elijah began applying for different background opportunities in the tristate area independently. This led to him making valuable connections and also gave him some exposure to different talent agencies. He later attended acting school in 2016, under the training of renowned acting coach, Lisa Regina, where he was able to develop his natural abilities further. He managed to score background and featured roles in blockbusters such as Creed (2015) ,and The Brakes (2016). His most recent accomplishment includes being cast as "Tyreke" in the independent sci-fi web series by Chanel Addison titled, Fon.
All of his work is sourced independently and he continues to do so until he turns his dreams into a reality....
