Actor/Screenwriter/Producer Marie Smalley, SAG-AFTRA, lives in New York City. A graduate of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, and Mastery Level training at the Giles Foreman Centre for Acting (London/NY), she works in films and television.
As a screenwriter, her feature screenplay "Searching for Shadow" has garnered multiple awards, as has her television pilot script "The Proxy Mom."
Marie founded Adagio Productions LLC, to develop her own female-driven content, much of it inspired by true events. She produced a feature "Emma’s Footprints," and "Visions: Four NY Artists" (writer, producer, asst. director) for PBS. She produced/curated film/video artists for Open Mouse in NY, the Museum of Contemporary Art, London and Ars Electronica in Europe. She was a member of NASA’s Art Advisory Committee.
