Junaid Khan (born November 02, 1981) is a well-known South Asian singer and actor. He is known for pursuing progressive and non-conventional acting roles and has won great recognition for his histrionic skills during a successful career punctuated by many hit television serials including Marzi (2016), Sun Yara (2017), Khasara (2018), Hania (2019), Kashf (2020). Junaid has a very large number of hit songs to his credit, which he has released both as a soloist and a member of the wildly popular band Call.

One of the biggest stars of Pakistan, Junaid Khan is known both as an actor and a singer, in his native country and all over the world. The young artist started his career in show business as a singer in 2003. A few years later he joined the band Call as the lead vocalist and sang for the band's phenomenally successful albums Jilawatan (2005) and Dhoom (2009). In 2012, he composed, produced and sang the single So Close So Distant which featured American singer Jennifer Jandris. In the years that followed, he produced a string of hit songs both as a soloist and a member of the band. His solo songs include the very popular songs Keh Do (2013) and Koyi Rokey Mujhe (2013). He also sang the title songs of Marzi(2016), Sun Yara (2017), Thays (2018) and many other television serials. Junaid made his acting debut in 2011 with Hum TV's sitcom Kabhi Na Kabhi. This was followed by a large number of hit television serials and series that include Yahan Pyar Nahi Hai (2012), Kadoorat(2013), Rasam (2014), Duaa (2015), Marzi (2016), Sun Yara (2017), Khasara (2018), Hania(2019), Kashf (2020). Kahey Dil Jidhar (2021) marks his film debut. Junaid continues to work both as a singer and an actor in Pakistan's burgeoning music, television and film industry.

Junaid Khan was born on November 02, 1981 to a Muslim family in Multan, Pakistan. He was brought up in Lahore, Pakistan, where he studied mining engineering at the University of Engineering & Technology and business administration at the Imperial College. Junaid, however, never pursued a career in engineering or business, preferring to focus on singing and acting. As a singer, Junaid is known for the unique texture of his voice, a distinct sensibility of music, the employment of complex rhythmic structures, and a creative use of harmony. He subscribes to the Stanislavski Method and the Meisner Technique both of which contribute heavily to his personal favorite - Practical Aesthetics Acting Technique - in his opinion. Junaid is famous for pursuing progressive, demanding and unconventional acting roles, and determinedly staying away from those that he finds cliched and stereotypical. Over the years, he has won numerous awards, prizes and accolades as a singer and actor. He lives in Karachi, Pakistan, with his wife, Amna Aslam, and two sons, Nael Khan and Muhammad Ahil Khan.
