Biography

Miroslav Trcak is a highly acclaimed Serbian screenwriter, assistant director, and script supervisor with a proven track record of excellence in the film industry.

Since embarking on his creative journey in 2015, and to this very day, Miroslav has penned an impressive portfolio of fifteen feature screenplays, and two short movie scripts, showcasing his versatility and command of narrative storytelling.

The project he's still most proud of is the screenplay "Mirror's Tale" which tells the backstory of the Evil Queen from "Snow White". This one tells a completely different story and take on the character, and even it may sound as a prequel, it would better look as a stand-alone movie.

In December 2021, he joined forces with the prestigious Croatian production company, Dream Team Pictures, where under the meticulous guidance of producer/director Vjekoslav Katusin, he crafted six additional compelling scripts. His works include the spine-chilling "Devil's Work," the gripping thriller "Wrongful Death," the emotionally charged "Champion," the intense sequel "Wrongful Death 2: Bloodlines," and "A Man Worth Kiling" both in post production, and the eerie "Once Upon a Time in Hell." He also wrote a western mystery drama for / with Silvia Spross and Robert Miano for a possible production later this year. A few more rewrites and new projects are still in development, but still not listed on IMDb. In April 2025, Miroslav was attached to the projects titled "Order of the Dragon" (action/martial arts) and "Someone Dies Tonight" ( "A Man Worth Killing" backstory).

Miroslav's talent has led him to collaborate with illustrious Hollywood icons such as Eric Roberts, Michael Pare, Costas Mandylor, Robert Miano, Chris Moss, Alexander Man, and Bai Ling. His exceptional skill was recognized in October 2023 when he received the "Best Screenplay" award for "Wrongful Death" at the Dreamachine International Film Festival.
