Bradley Williamson on site, Egypt at the Sphinx
I am a bit unusual in that I can either be found in a lab working on medical research as a 4.0 GPA graduate student at Johns Hopkins University & Medicine or being filmed for television on a remote corner of the globe leading an archaeological expedition while diving with sharks, jumping out of airplanes, etc., to find lost treasures, while also studying archaeology at Harvard.

I consider myself both a scientist and an explorer. My travels have taken me around the globe, from the Great Wall of China and the Forbidden City in China, to the Grand Pyramids in Egypt. Also, I have led expeditions both domestic and international searching for and recovering buried treasures and sunken treasures from numerous shipwrecks. Additionally, I have been fortunate to explore the legends of pirate treasure and even lost gold mines in the Superstition Mountains. It is hard to believe but I have been doing this so long that I now have over 25 years' experience of successfully recovering sunken and lost treasures both here in the U.S and internationally. When I was younger I had the great fortune to have dived and worked with Commander Bob "Frogfoot" Weller for many years on numerous treasure recovery projects. Bob is regarded as one of the most respected and successful treasure hunters and is the author of numerous books and articles on treasure hunting. Bob, my mentor in treasure hunting, was also a member of UDT Team 1, which was a forerunner to today's Navy S.E.A.L. program and was also one of the contributing authors to the Navy Dive Manual.

Many of my expeditions have been included in books, magazines, and television. Some of the books I have appeared in are; Shipwrecks of Florida, Galleon Alley, Treasures of the Spanish Main, etc. Some of the magazines and newspapers you might have seen me in are; Treasure Quest magazine, Lost Treasure magazine, Plus Ultra, Scuba News, Scuba Magazine, Palm Beach Post, El Pais, etc. Additionally, you may have seen me on TV shows such as Caribbean Pirate Treasure with Philippe and Ashlan Cousteau on The Travel Channel, The UnExplained by William Shatner on The History Channel, and on numerous episodes of Expedition Unknown with Josh Gates on The Discovery Channel. Additionally, it was a great honor to be able to work as an advisor on films such as when I worked with Debra Padrick from Warner Brothers on the move Fool's Gold featuring Matthew McConaughey, Kate Hudson and Donald Sutherland.

Regarding my education, my Bachelor of Arts was focused on Business and Languages & Linguistics. The languages I studied were French, German, Spanish, and my primary language of study was Japanese. Also, I have played with Mandarin Chinese and Arabic but have not officially studied them. During my Bachelor's program I worked hard and earned honors and was on The National Deans List and The President's List and was also a member of The National Honor Society and the Charitable Organization Phi Theta Kappa. After receiving my Bachelor's Degree, I went to Washington D.C. and attended George Washington University to work on my MBA and even though I maintained a 4.0 GPA, I realized that my true passion was in medicine and medical research. So then I switched to Johns Hopkins University & Medicine and somehow have been able to maintain a 4.0 GPA and am an honor student in the graduate program for biotechnology where my area of interest is in human genetic bio-engineering to help increase the quality of life for many individuals. On the side I also take courses, just for fun and I am not a fully matriculated student, at Harvard University in archaeology.

Sky diving, snow skiing, snowboarding, jogging, scuba diving, water skiing, weight training, reading, mountain climbing, playing classical guitar, and martial arts along with weapons training are some of my hobbies.

As far as business, I have started up and have been the president and owner of several highly successful treasure and marine recovery companies and am also the owner of a small startup biotech company. I also spend a lot of my time doing public speaking engagements. For example, I like to volunteer as a speaker and advocate for several non-profit organizations such as ARC (Advocates for the Rights of the Challenged) and I also go alone into jails and prisons to speak with the inmates to try to encourage them to turn their lives around so that upon their release they might become productive members of society.
