Hailey Langland
Hailey Langland is young snowboard Slopestyle and Big Air prodigy from Southern California, USA, who was a World Cup winner at just 14 years of age.

Hailey Langland has snowboarding in her blood. Sponsored by Burton at the age of six, she won her first World Cup Grand Prix at 14. Aged 16, she took home an X Games Big Air gold medal with a massive Cab Double Cork 1080, becoming the first woman to land the trick in an X Games competition.

A regular top 10 competitor in the World Cup standings and an Olympian in 2018, Langland's rail game is every bit as good as her air skills, and she does both with impeccable style and flow. A silver medal at the 2019 X Games in Slopestyle proved that point. She routinely competes in Slopestyle, Big Air and Superpipe, proving she's a multi-talented threat.

Born in Southern California, Hailey's love of snowboarding was kindled by her dad when he started taking his five-year-old daughter up to Bear Valley. It was love at first ride, and Hailey's been shredding ever since. She still calls the popular beach and surf town of San Clemente, California, home but spends most of her time on the road training, competing and filming.

When she's not shredding the park or powder with friends, Hailey loves spending time with her husky named Denver, surfing, mountain biking, skateboarding and creative pursuits like drawing, painting and playing music on the guitar ukulele and piano. Her musical influences include Billy Joel, The Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin.

Known for her smooth style and flawless Methods (her favourite trick), Hailey grew up watching classic snowboard movies like ack Dawg's The Hard, the Hungry and the Homeless and mixes some old-school flair with her modern repertoire of flips and spins. She strives to funnel that creativity and freedom into her competitive career, with her top priority on any course is to have fun and make it flow.

Along with a full-time competition schedule, Hailey, or 'Yung Hails' as her friends call her, is looking forward to filming more in the future while increasing her backcountry skills and education in places like Utah and Jackson Hole.

Representing Red Bull, Volcom, Oakley, GoPro, Skull Candy and Lululemon, Hailey Langland embodies a perfect blend of snowboarding's roots and 21st-century style. "Above everything else," Langland says, "I want my snowboarding to look and feel good. It's really all about riding with my friends and the freedom I feel when I'm on a snowboard."
