Biography

Rohit Gupta was born in India. He works as a Screenplay and dialogue writer and is also an Independent Filmmaker. He began his journey as an Assistant Director and has assisted Filmmakers like Amit V. Masurkar and Anurag Kashyap. He has worked in Casting with the leading Casting Director Mukesh Chhabra. Later he started working as a Screenplay and Dialogue writer along with some renowned writers like Adhir Bhat, Amit Joshi, and Aakash Kaushik. He is known for the projects like 'Yeh Shaadi Nahi Ho Sakti', the next sequel in the Housefull series, the next project by Farah Khan, an upcoming Kannada language feature film titled 'Gundugala Jyothi Jivana'. He has written and directed an Independent film titled 'M.O.M. ' based on the subject of bullying which has been widely appreciated at different Film Festivals across India and has been highly rated by different Film critics. He is also into digital and corporate Advertising filmmaking. He has also worked as a screenplay and dialogue writer for the TV show 'Comedy Nights Bachao' for Sony TV. His next Independent Film titled 'Jai Shree Ram' is under production and has been highly appreciated for its story at different Script Labs by many big Filmmakers and writers, it is stated to release at the end of the year 2023.
