- Anuj Gupta is an Indian casting director working across feature films, independent cinema, and television commercials. He transitioned from a corporate career into films after training in acting at Actor Prepares and began his casting journey by assisting renowned casting director Shruti Mahajan. In 2017, he started casting independently for commercials and films. His work includes the independent film My Dear Wife (2018), which premiered at the Seattle International Film Festival.
Known for discovering fresh talent such as Anjini Dhawan (Binny and Family), Sumbul Tauqeer (Article 15), Prit Kamani, Eisha Singh, and Kavya Thapar (Middle Class Love), he has collaborated with filmmakers including Mahesh Manjrekar, Anubhav Sinha, Ratna Sinha, Sanjay Tripathy, and Mahaveer Jain.
