Biography

Nigel Fisher is an actor, known for The Last Face (2016) and Flag Day (2021). Nigel's day job for the last few decades has been in conflict management and humanitarian action with the United Nations. While Deputy Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General in Haiti (2010-2013), he met Sean Penn. The two hit it off and became friends. After making some suggestions to Sean Penn on the human rights/humanitarian dimensions of The Last Face script, Nigel landed the role of Ivan in the movie and later performed the role of Dr. Halstead in Flag Day. He surmises that these two roles may represent the sum total of his stellar acting career.
