Gowra Hari is an Indian musician - a skilled composer, guitarist, singer, lyricist, and creator. A true sonic storyteller.
Born in the culturally rich town of Bhimavaram and raised in the soulful spirit of Tanuku, Gowrahari's journey is one fueled by passion, purpose, and perseverance. He pursued his early education at S.F.S. School and later attended SCIM Government College in Tanuku. A born artist at heart, he chose the path less traveled - discontinuing his B.Sc. in the third year to follow his true calling: music. That bold leap in 2010 marked the beginning of an inspiring voyage into the world of sound.
From composing for jingles, national and international ads, and television serials, to making a strong debut in Kannada cinema with Charminar (2013) - widely regarded as a musical blockbuster - Gowrahari steadily carved his name into the South Indian music scene. His signature sound, known for its blend of soul and scale, earned him the Best Composer of the Year at the 2015 Mirchi Music Awards for Tungabhadra (2015) and Krishnamma Kalipindi Iddarini (2015).
