Biography

Jean Kerr Minetti was born on January 21, 1924 in Washington, District of Columbia, USA. She was married to Giacinto Joseph Minetti and Joseph McCarthy. She died on December 15, 1979 in Bethesda, Maryland, USA.

An ardent supporter of the rabidly anti-Communist Senator Joseph McCarthy, she agreed to marry him in 1953 and they subsequently adopted a child. McCarthy died less than four years later, only 48 and with his career and reputation (such as it was) in ruins.
