Dmitry Vinokurov is a Dublin-based actor with striking Scandinavian looks, a strong screen presence, and a richly multicultural background. Fluent in English and Russian, and conversational in Swedish and German, he brings authentic international versatility to every role.
Following in his parents' footsteps, Dmitry first trained as an engineer, earning a Master's degree and building a successful industry career. Eventually, he answered an artistic call - prompted by his great-grandfather's stage career in the 1920s - and pursued acting, training at the Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin. He further refined his craft through contemporary dance and martial arts, blending emotional range with physical precision.
On screen, Dmitry made his feature debut as Dariusz in Herself (2020), directed by Phyllida Lloyd. His TV credits include Halvdan in The Last Journey of the Vikings (2020), Magnus in Rig 45 (2018), Eugenius in Intruder (2021), Oliver in the Hallmark feature My Norwegian Holiday (2023), Patrick in Saint Patrick: Born in Britain, Made in Ireland (2025), Carl Bauer in The Drowned (2025) and Nikolai in Rozkvet. His short-form roles include Peter in No Limits (2024), Luka in the festival-bound Inis Bó Finne (2025), and Danya in United (2020), which he also co-produced with his sister.
Passionate about meaningful storytelling, Dmitry continues to build a body of work across international film and television. Confident, versatile, and globally experienced, Dmitry takes challenging roles in film, television, and international co-productions.
