Biography

Darien was born as the oldest of 2 children in Kingston, Jamaica to Locksley and Evoy LaBeach. He promises his mom he will renew his Jamaican passport. Darien began acting at the age of 17 in his high school's theater club, "ECHOStage." At the University of Georgia, he performed with the "Black Theatrical Ensemble" and wrote, directed, produced, and acted in various short films. He moved to New York to pursue a career in marketing but, as he is not one to block phone numbers, could not ignore the call of the stage. He made his Off-Off Broadway debut that first year before becoming a member of Brunch Theatre Company and has enjoyed performing Off Broadway & onscreen ever since.
