Kristy Cooper is an American television executive producer and writer. Cooper executive produced and wrote the docu-series "Hopefuls" (2018) along with a string of productions: The Whistle (2018), From Scratch (2018), Hidden Hikes (2018), Civil Women (2018), Vietnam Speaks (2018), The Otherside of Coachella (2018), I Remember Television (2017), Musicology (2018) and Uncovered in the Archives (2018).

Kristy Cooper, CEO and Founder of Team Cooper Ent, is a six-time Emmy award-winning showrunner and executive producer with over two decades of experience in media. Cooper, who was born Kristy Jones, grew up in Petersburg, VA with her mother Gloria Jones, a school district social worker, and her father, Joseph Jones Jr, an entrepreneur. Cooper spent her childhood sketching, reading, writing, watching fantasy movies and playing on her grandparent's farm. She was bit by the storytelling bug after her fifth grade class performed a play she wrote. Cooper graduated from Virginia Tech before starting her internship at CNN in Atlanta where her media career began. She has managed projects for CNN, Department of Defense, PBS, BNC, ESPN, and production companies. Cooper is drawn to positive and uplifting content. She lives in Atlanta with Ralph, her talent agent husband, and their son Jack.
