Michael "Doc" Harris, aka Doc Martinez, was born as Miguel Martinez to a single mother from Puerto Rico. After being adopted, his legal surname was changed to Harris, but he carries both names with pride-honoring his roots and his military service.

Doc served honorably in the U.S. Army and Army National Guard from 2001 to 2016, working alongside Special Forces and other Special Operations units. A seasoned Tactical Combatives and Firearms Instructor, as well as a combat medic (NCO), he brings authentic military experience to every set.

Now retired, Doc lives just outside San Antonio, TX, spending time with his family and making occasional appearances in commercials, student films, and as a background extra for ATX Studios in Austin. He has extensive experience in tactical driving, firearms use and instruction, military-style combatives, stage and fight choreography, and weapon handling. A lifelong vocalist, he has trained in the Authentic Meisner Technique at Playhouse ATX under Marshall and Jamie Allman.
