Parineeta Borthakur is an Indian actress who is predominantly known for working in the Hindi film and television industry. She was raised in Duliajan, Assam and completed her education by doing MA in Philosophy from Mumbai University.

The versatile artist made her acting debut with Nayak, an Assamese film. This was followed by a series of projects in Hindi cinema and television which earned her great recognition and accolades.

She played the role of Sharmishta Bose in Swaragini, besides playing Chandrika Singh Chauhan in Vasudha and Ganga Shiv Gupta in Gupta brothers. Parineeta's artistic brilliance in these projects helped her in establishing her credentials in the entertainment world.

The actress featured in several bollywood movies including Force, Chalo Dilli, Kurbaan, etc. She was part of the super-hit Assamese movie Gaane Ki Aane, featuring alongside the legendary Zubeen Garg. Parineeta also launched India's first vegan and paraben free highly pigmented lip plumpers under the cosmetic brand Nyor.
