He would use that as a launching pad to create his own production company known as Gravestone Films. With Gravestone Films, Scotty has produced films such as Samhain, Friday the 13th: Dead Before Dusk, and 72.
Scotty is an influential part of the indie horror community, starring in such films like Frosty's Revenge: Seasons Bleeding 3 and Always Check. He hosts a podcast titled Slasher Scotty where he interviews various celebrity guests.
He has released multiple trivia books on the Friday the 13th and Halloween franchises, as well as an anthology series under the Tales of Halloween banner and is working on a series titled BitterSweet Mysteries.
Scotty's passion is horror films and is always looking to expand his horror resume with producing films in the Northeastern side of the USA, primarily in Pennsylvania and Maryland areas, as he resides in both Ashland, Pennsylvania and Baltimore, Maryland.
