Adeniyi Joseph Omobulejo popularly known as TAJ is a versatile storyteller, skilled as a Director, Cinematographer, Editor and Creative Producer.
He has produced and directed over ten thousand minutes of prime time television series for Multichoice, now acquired by Canal+
He was a Showrunner and Director of the acclaimed TV show, ‘Irora Iya’ which won Best Indigenous Series at the AMVCA10.
He was also a Showrunner and Supervising Director for the YA show, Dear Future Me, which was the highest rated show on the Network while it aired.
Some of his other shows as a Director include, The Hidden, 10th Avenue, Pepersoup and The Theory of Breakfast; these shows can be found on Showmax.
He is also the Director of the six part Netflix Original series ‘Ololade’
As a Director of Photography, he shot Africa’s first AI themed movie ‘Makemation’ for the box office. He also shot the time loop film ‘Landline’ that was number 1 on Amazon Prime for two weeks and stayed on the top ten chart for longer. He was the Cinematographer for the faith based series 'The Wives' that trended for weeks on Youtube.
TAJ as he is popularly known is an alumnus of the Multichoice Talent Factory and a fellow of the ACTV Storytelling and Showrunner residency
Adeniyi has won several awards from international film festivals with his short film, Kill the Impostor. He is the Founder and Creative Director of Nostalgia Media, a film and post production company based in Lagos.
His vision is to tell the most conscious, reflective and inspirational stories out of Africa.
