Biography

Patrick Luwis is an American actor based in Los Angeles, California. Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, he gained prominence for his role as Axel Kovačević, the Iron Dragons co-captain, in the global hit series Cobra Kai.

Luwis has built a steady screen resume across major film and television projects, with roles in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie, Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon, Hulu’s The Dropout, Apple TV+'s Stick, and FX's The Beauty, alongside guest appearances on NCIS and Animal Kingdom. He has also starred in several independent features, including Meeting You, Meeting Me, with additional projects releasing soon.

Outside of acting, Luwis is an active outdoorsman and athlete.
