- Dimitris Theocharidis was born in Thessaloniki. He studied directing and screenwriting in Aristotle University of Thessaloniki - School of Film. Since then, he has written numerous screenplays for short and feature films, animation and live-action series. He has directed commercials, music videos and has taken part in numerous film productions. His first professional short film, "Hunting Season" completed its festival run, with 38 official selections and 3 awards, worldwide. The script for his second short film, "Caps", was awarded by Greek Film Center in Olympia "Creative Ideas" Pitching Lab, and is in pre-production. His first feature film "Saints and other Sinners" is in development.
He writes and directs because he wants to share stories.
