Oleksandr Rudynskyi

After graduating from the Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University, he joined the Ivan Franko National Academic Drama Theatre, where he performs leading roles, including Macbeth in William Shakespeare’s Macbeth and the title role in Albert Camus’ Caligula.
Rudynskyi successfully combines his work in theatre with Ukrainian cinema and international productions. His screen work includes the Netflix series The Decameron and a recurring role in the 2024 Paramount+ with Showtime series The Agency, starring Michael Fassbender.
He gained further international recognition for his leading role in the short film Rock, Paper, Scissors, which received a BAFTA Awards. Expanding his global career, in April 2026 Rudynskyi joined the cast of Gundam, an upcoming military science fiction mecha space opera film.
