Biography

Alexander Parkinson is an Australian-American-British actor, writer, and director. He has appeared in some of the most beloved movies and TV shows of recent years, sharing the screen with Mariska Hargitay, Pierce Brosnan, Benicio Del Toro, Alicia Silverstone, and Walt Goggins. Some of the roles Alex is most proud of include being chased through the snow by Captain Olivia Benson as the perp Leonard Fleming in SVU, and recurring as NASA astronaut Owen Stanwood in season 4 of For All Mankind and Max Daily in the ABC reboot of The Wonder Years, in which his comedic chops shined. Alex's gift for comedy also means he is regularly tapped to be the face of major national brands.

Alexander’s first feature film, Third, which he wrote, directed, and played the lead role in, is on the festival circuit, having premiered at Atlanta Film Festival. He is also developing his second feature film, Ride or Die, the screenplay for which won the 2025 Atlanta Film Festival Screenplay Award.

Alexander has had the pleasure of being directed by Hollywood heavyweights Jaume Collet-Serra, Tyler Perry, Boots Riley, and the Duffer Brothers, series stalwarts such as Bethany Rooney, Shiri Appleby and Michael Schultz, and exciting up-and-comers like Grant Singer and Ali Scher.
