Musa Aden is a Somali American actor and filmmaker. His journey into acting began with his love for hip hop music and being on the set of music videos. These experiences allowed him to develop an appreciation for the art of acting and aspire to become an actor himself. Musa understood the challenges that lay ahead in pursuing an acting career, but he knew that they paled in comparison to the hardships he faced in coming to America.

Musa and his family escaped the civil war in Somalia and sought refuge in Kenya before eventually being relocated to America as refugees. Musa was just 10 years old when he and his family arrived in Salt Lake City, Utah. Despite the language barrier and culture shock, Musa was able to overcome these obstacles through his exposure to hip-hop music and culture. This facilitated his assimilation into the urban city faster than his parents.
