Paolo Dumlao(I)

Juan Paolo Miguel Dumlao is a multidisciplinary actor and performance artist whose work intersects queer identity, radical embodiment, and community-based storytelling. Trained in film, immersive theater, stunt work, and voice acting, Paolo has appeared in internationally acclaimed films such as Magalhães and Essential Truths of the Lake by Lav Diaz (Cannes, Locarno, Busan), as well as experimental cinema, documentaries, and performance festivals. His presence spans screen, stage, and street, with a practice rooted in collaboration, physicality, and artistic risk. Paolo's performances have been featured across Fringe Manila, Berlinale, Cinemalaya, and Singapore International Film Festival. A student of Muay Thai, archery, and movement, he brings a raw, athletic honesty to work that is often intimate, political, and socially charged.
