Sara Brown (she/he/they) is an internationally acclaimed performance artist, cabaret producer, and singer based in Barcelona, with Italian roots and a bold, interdisciplinary practice spanning live performance, theatre, film, and education. They have performed and produced shows across Spain, Italy, Portugal, Germany, France, Brazil, the US, and the UK, with work featured at institutions such as MACBA (Barcelona, Spain) and SXSW (Austin, Texas, US).
Captivating audiences with their magnetic stage presence, Sara has developed a unique voice in cabaret, exploring gender and stigma through humour, sensuality, and raw storytelling. Fusing original dance choreography, clown, burlesque, pole dance, and even a bit of magic, their cabaret shows are equal parts emotional rollercoaster and genderfluid celebration. Founder of the queer performance platform IL MONSTRO, they are the creative force behind celebrated shows like CABARET MONSTRO, The Sara Brown Show, and FATALE.
