Her work spans fiction, creative documentary and hybrid forms combining cinema, visual arts and archival research. Her projects explore questions of representation, female and queer perspectives, postcolonial representations, and the relations between Europe, Africa and the Mediterranean. She is also the founder of Filibusta, an independent production company supporting research-based and author-driven projects.
