Biography

Isis Caljé is a versatile actress and filmmaker hailing from the Netherlands. She speaks English and Dutch fluently and she recently worked on shows like Een Moord Kost Meer Levens and films like Het Verloren Transport, The Pod Generation and Van Amstel, which she also wrote and directed.

She completed a theatre course at the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Brisbane, Australia. Once graduated she was immediately cast in multiple short films and commercials, including the commercial of Staatsloterij Oudejaarstrekking - Frekkel, who also won Best commercial at the Gouden Loeki awards. In the last couple of year she was part of multiple theatre companies and she worked on different cinema productions (e.g. Het Verloren Transport, The Pod Generation) and Television shows, including the Videoland True-crime show Een Moord Kost Meer Levens.

Besides acting, Isis completed a Film and Audiovisual Media course at the Dutch Filmers Academy, specializing in script writing and directing. She has written and directed a couple of short films herself, including van Amstel en Vogelsang. Isis is an experienced dancer and host and she regularly follows classes in stunt and stage fighting, including sword fighting, weapon training and fist fighting.

Isis speaks Dutch and English fluently and is an excellent swimmer, due to her background as a competitive swimmer. She also enjoys horseback riding, which she practices quite regularly
