Milena Barbosa is most known as MILLAH.
Since 1999 Millah has dedicated her life intensively to Art. Millah first started with Acting, Dancing and TV Presenting. This helped her gain international popularity. She spent many years studying different perspectives of acting from 3 different countries; Brazil, England and the United States. As a great student and a very curious person about the human ways of expressing and being, she developed an acting method based in awareness, consciousness and development. This acting technique mixes Psychology, Meisner Technique and Stanislavski.
In 2009, she worked a lot in Brazilian Tv commercials, TV shows, print commercials and also opened an Acting school called MB ACADEMY. For 3 years she coached actors around her country, where she learned the most about acting. She worked as a Director and Producer on short films and also Directed a National TV show called "Country Shop". In 2013, she landed the lead role as (Nicola) on the British film called "3 Woman" by Mark Grey (film available on Amazon Prime).
Considered a very sensitive and spiritual connected person, she also explored Music. This is where her light really shined. In 2013 she released her first song and video clip, "You are still in my mind". This song appears on the soundtrack on the American Film "A Long Way Off" from Uptone Pictures. Since then, her career expanded positively. In 2014 she released 2 EPs, and was with the Song "All night long" that she traveled Brazil on a tour, singing to big crowds like 30K of people. In 2016 she signed with the biggest label in Brazil "Som Livre", the song "Inside your mind" became famous nationally.
After many years in her artistic career, she tried to somehow combine her spiritual gifts with her Art, so in 2017 MILLAH released her first full Album called EU SOU /I AM, full of healing frequencies and messages of awareness through her lyrics, the intention was to contribute and elevate the collective consciousness. The Album is completely authorial, produced by the famous producer DeepLick. The song "UM SOM" got a video clip recorded in North Carolina - US by "Uptone Pictures" and played at National TV in Brazil, this song got famous on radios all over the country. In 2018/2019 Millah moved to US and started her international career as a Singer, building a new crowd and spreading her art in different grounds. She went on tour with her acoustic show, attending to big Art events as "Art Basil" in Miami - FL.
In 2020 Millah got a lead role on an American pilot series called "Night Fall", shot in the US. 2021 - She is working on her personal projects into helping society with self-development through a beautiful creation called Youtunein. She is the Founder and Creator of this Meditation App filled with Meditation Music created with Quality, Science and Technology. More about it (www.youtunein.com).
